Szechuan Noodle Bowl, located at 526 Bloor St W in Toronto, has quickly made a name for itself as a go-to destination for authentic Sichuan cuisine. Patrons rave about the "Beef Lungs in Chili Sauce," praised for its tender meat and aromatic spice blend, alongside the satisfyingly delicate "BoBo Chicken," which marries marinated chicken with fragrant sesame oil. Both dishes embody the essence of Sichuan flavors, showcasing a remarkable balance of spice and richness that keeps diners coming back for more. Customer reviews consistently highlight the restaurant's authenticity, with many noting that it resists the trends of Westernized Chinese restaurants. The hand-pulled noodles come highly recommended, particularly for their affordability without sacrificing quality—Ellen Yeh describes the beef noodles as exemplary, and Annie Song appreciates the flavorful soup, cleanliness, and friendly service. Whether enjoying the Dan Dan noodles or savoring a hearty house fried rice, the portions are generous, ensuring you leave satisfied. Plus, the cash discount is a delightful bonus. The warm and inviting atmosphere complements the mouthwatering dishes, making Szechuan Noodle Bowl a must-visit for any noodle lover in downtown Toronto. Each bite transports you to Sichuan, leaving you eager for another visit.

Food is very authentic. Server is super friendly. Good beef noodles and fish sauce eggplant. The chef's got good skills. This is not one of those westernized Chinese restaurant.

Affordable and authentic hand pulled Chinese noodles. I personally really liked the soup and how flavourful everything goes together. The server was super nice and the sweetest lady I’ve seen. There are lots of seats inside and the restaurant is very clean. They also have a discount for cash. Will be one of my go to spots from now on!

Delicious noodles. I had A04 and A01, and both were absolutely amazing. The soup was flavourful, without being too spicy. There were different options of meats, I chose chicken. It was lightly fried and perfect. Any more and it would’ve been too heavy, but it was light and delicious. I usually am not a huge fan of peanuts, but in the szechuan noodles they were splendid. A must visit if you’re downtown. Cash 10% off.

We've ordered twice through UberEats and both times the food has been absolutely delicious. This time, we got the black pepper beef, roasted duck, and the cumin lamb (again). The meat is so tender, juicy, and flavourful. We made steamed rice at home and paired it with these dishes and it was perfect. Portions here are plentiful, which sets it apart from other restaurants that are cutting back. This has become one of our favourite restaurants in Toronto. Hoping to eat there in person one day!

Heart warming Chinese food outside of Chinatown. I tried their spicy beef noodle soup and Dan Dan noodles in the past and both dishes tasted hot and delicious. I’ve had the same server serve me whenever I eat there and she is very friendly each time. The restaurant itself is cozy, clean and inviting. Thumbs all the way up.

Really solid new addition to the area. The noodle soups were really tasty, the spicy not too spicy. A big hit was the pickled cucumbers. A couple of misspellings on the menu - was pretty endearing to us! And you could tell what they meant. Incredible value too.

I come here every week now. I love the noodle soups. The broth is flavorful and you can adjust how spicy you like your soup since Szechuan chili is more of a numbing spicy. I always get medium. The spinach noodles have a great chew to it. I didn't like the machine chopped noodles as much because it was too thick. Get the first thing on the menu, and the second thing on the menu. I like it with beef or pork intestines!
